“After working with some great trainers at Jolt through one-on-one training, my biggest concern with Semi-Private Training (SPT) was that my progress would slow when you didn’t have the same dedicated focus to your goals—now that we are into the program for some time, there is ZERO concern!

Since getting started, my body fat % has dropped, I’ve had weight loss, increased strength, and increased flexibility, which has improved drastically. What I like best is the mix of independence with help and expertise; I come in, open my program, and put in the work, and if I need help, your trainer is there instantly.

Being freshly postpartum after my second baby, I was unsure of what my "schedule" would be like with two kids.  I wondered whether I would have time and energy to show up. I quickly learned that SPT offered flexibility, in addition to keeping me accountable, that works quite well if my week doesn’t go the way I planned it to.

I have noticed the most improvement in my strength! I was very sick during most of my pregnancy so I didn’t workout at all. I lost a lot of my strength, but I was so impressed how quickly I was able to regain a lot of it with a well made plan and support

system!

Accountability is huge for me. It’s really easy to walk away from a workout when you haven’t slept all night and are dealing with a fussy baby. SPT not only offers flexibility if I have to change my day, but also offers a comfortable and welcoming environment where I can show up as I am - which is usually exhausted, with a baby in tow. “Honestly, I was a bit hesitant about getting back into the group setting. I didn’t want to feel lost in the group or like I wasn’t keeping up to others around. I also had that hesitation of ‘would I get more out of SPT vs One on One’ or would it feel similar to standard group sessions.

The biggest shift has been my consistency in getting back. I’m showing up regularly, feeling stronger, and moving into my strength phase seeing increases since I started back. It’s not just physical—it feels like I’m getting back to a version of myself that feels more capable. In the past, I’d either go all in or fall off completely. This feels different because it’s structured but still realistic. I’m not guessing what to do, and I’m not trying to do everything at once—it’s actually sustainable.

I really value the consistent accountability—both during the sessions and outside of them. In the sessions, one of the coaches is always checking in and pushing you just enough, which keeps me focused and intentional with my workouts. It’s that balance of support and accountability that make me feel like I am seeing a change. I also enjoy the ability of having a personalized workout so each week doesn’t feel the same. If something feels off I have the benefit of immediately switching it out to support what’s needed.

It’s helped more than just my workouts. I feel more focused, more motivated, and a bit more like I have my routine together again. It’s one of those things that positively spills into other areas of life. After having a baby this has made getting back into a routine feel more manageable. It doesn’t feel extreme or all-or-nothing—it feels like something I can actually keep up with long-term, which is the biggest win.

I would 100% recommend SPT! Especially for anyone who feels overwhelmed starting or restarting fitness. It’s perfect if you want guidance and structure but still need flexibility to fit it into real life.
