“In my teens, I struggled with eating disorders and obsessive behaviours around food. I would scour magazines and Pinterest for my next low calorie snack option. I obsessed over #Thinspo and weighed myself multiple times per day. I snacked on vitamin C tablets and white knuckled my way through extreme cravings and low energy. I did long term damage to my health that I believe trigged my Celiac’s disease and chronic daily hives. It was impossible for me to build muscle, I felt like I had to workout for hours on end to try and ‘tone up’ my body. It was excruciatingly painful mentally and physically. Everything I read about nutrition said, ‘eat less, move more’, so that I did by spending hours at the gym and eating 1,000 calories per day.

We launched Jolt Nutrition Methods to provide sustainable and realistic nutrition education, so that no one has to struggle the same way I did. I needed science based education, reliable fitness experts, and a program that supported me in feuling my body for performance. I needed someone I could trust to help me stay accountable and guide me through the small cumulative steps of building a resilient body and high quality life.

I suffered for almost a decade, but there was no quick fix to pull myself out of the depths of chronic dieting. It took that decade of gaining education, experimenting with and trusting my own body, relying on other expert health professionals and ultimately a long term approach of taking small steps towards where I am today.

Now I fuel my body, so I can lift heavy, run fast, thrive in my physical job without pain, and run a small business without running out of energy. I enjoy eating healthy AND I enjoy pizza with friends and ice cream with my niece. I have more brain capacity, because I am not constantly thinking about food restriction and exercise.

Meet with your coach as often or as minimal as needed with these book as you go 30 minute sessions. In these sessions, we will track progress measures, make adjustments for upcoming challenges and adjust nutrition goals to meet your desired outcomes.

Most clients starting out, meet every 2 weeks for 2-3 months before opting for less frequent visits every 4-6 weeks.
